Gettin' some more work done
Well here you see i have the box off of the truck. I took it off to rebuild the rails that go between the bed of the box and the frame. In the mean time of getting that fixed you can see i painted the frame. I had to grind off all the extra debris thoughout the whole frame and then put the paint right to it. It looks much better now and will make the frame last quite a bit longer.

Trickin' out the Truck
Well i spent three hours of last night hookin these things up. They have a couple settings and they have 7 different color options. I can make all the colors fade in and out, I can make them blink, or I can make them stay on one color. In order to hook these up, first had to find a power source so i put a new end on the power wire for the switch that turns the light on so i could plug it in to the fuse block. Then i hooked the ground onto another ground wire that was already there. After finding the power source and the ground you then have to figure out where to mount the lights and the switch. I put my switch on the left side of my steering wheel on the bezel that goes around the gauges. I drilled a hole in the bottom of it to run the wires through so they are hiddin. Then i hooked up the appropriate length of wire to where i mounted all three of my lights. All that is left to do after that is zip tie the wires up so they are hidden.

Fixin the truck
Now let me tell ya something, i know that truck boxes dont look heavy but holy shit they are. I had to take that off because the rails underneath are rotted all to hell and need to be replaced. The first thing i had to do was take out all the bolts that hold it down. That itself was not an easy job either. Since all the bolts were rusted they had to be cut, and getting up under the truck and trying to get the sawzaul in the right position to cut was a pain in the ass. After i got all 8 bolts cut I just had to unplug the tail lights and take the gas cap out of the side of the box. Then it was ready to come off. It took me and my father everything we had to lift that son of bitch off of there. I would not recommend to anybody who is doing this job to only have one person helping you out. Bout four guys would be sufficient.

Gettin' Stuck
Well this was a fun day. Started out workin and a bunch of us were just supposed to go to my buddy's land to get a little dirty. Well we got quite dirty, after i took the truck through the mud pit a couple times we had a mud fight and got completely covered. We then decided (or i decided) that the mud their was not deep enough so i wanted to go to the swamp where i knew there was some serious mud. We drove through cortland covered so bad in mud you couldnt tell what color the truck was or what color we were. I made a stop to get one of my friends that wanted to go to the swamp and we headed up their. When we got there i knew that this spot was deep and i told him not to go through it, he thought he could and tried and got stuck. So i came back and pulled him out of this deep hole. Well i got the bright idea that i should try going through it since i had the biggest truck. As you can see that didnt go over to well. My 35 inch super swamper tires were completely submerged under the mud and i was stuck as hell. I knew my friend that was up their could not pull me out so we went to get another guy with a big truck. It a few minutes and quite a few tugs to finally get me out of that hole but i made it out and got lucky.
