Trickin' out the Truck
Well i spent three hours of last night hookin these things up. They have a couple settings and they have 7 different color options. I can make all the colors fade in and out, I can make them blink, or I can make them stay on one color. In order to hook these up, first had to find a power source so i put a new end on the power wire for the switch that turns the light on so i could plug it in to the fuse block. Then i hooked the ground onto another ground wire that was already there. After finding the power source and the ground you then have to figure out where to mount the lights and the switch. I put my switch on the left side of my steering wheel on the bezel that goes around the gauges. I drilled a hole in the bottom of it to run the wires through so they are hiddin. Then i hooked up the appropriate length of wire to where i mounted all three of my lights. All that is left to do after that is zip tie the wires up so they are hidden.

Fixin the truck
Now let me tell ya something, i know that truck boxes dont look heavy but holy shit they are. I had to take that off because the rails underneath are rotted all to hell and need to be replaced. The first thing i had to do was take out all the bolts that hold it down. That itself was not an easy job either. Since all the bolts were rusted they had to be cut, and getting up under the truck and trying to get the sawzaul in the right position to cut was a pain in the ass. After i got all 8 bolts cut I just had to unplug the tail lights and take the gas cap out of the side of the box. Then it was ready to come off. It took me and my father everything we had to lift that son of bitch off of there. I would not recommend to anybody who is doing this job to only have one person helping you out. Bout four guys would be sufficient.
